THIS WEEK - SHAKESPEARE
Our speaker this week will be Mark Hofflund, Managing Director of the Idaho Shakespeare Festival.  In his 25 years with the Festival, he's seen remarkable growth in this wonderful community asset. But its not all about theater, Mark sees the Festival as a major partner in Community Economic Development and Environmental protections. He visited our club a few years ago and he's a real inspiration!
GREENBELT MOVES AHEAD!
We are excited to announced that we have reached our fundraising goal!! We have about $55,000 in our war chest, now we can get to work! We have a meeting scheduled with Parks and Rec on Thursday at 1:30 to get more detailed in our designs and timeline. Anyone is welcome to join the discussion!

YOU HAVE ONE MORE WEEK TO ORDER YOUR BRICK. Don't miss out on your opportunity to add your legacy to Boise history! Here's the link to the order form.
DICTIONARIES READY FOR DELIVERY
Roger reports that with the help of Scott and Dave the Rotary stickers have been affixed to all the dictionaries. They are now ready for delivery. Contact Roger if you can assist with a school.
POLIO BIKE RIDE COMING SOON!
The annual Bike Ride to End Polio will be November 18th in Tucson AZ. Once again, Mary Reiman and friends plan to make the trip. There are many different event lengths, but she's going to do the 106 miler this time. You can participate by supporting Mary with a pledge, or riding on your stationary bike at home or at the gym! This is a HUGE event; a fund raiser for many different organizations, Rotary among them.
SUPPORT TURKEY DAYS
Turkey Days! Expect the early November Happy Dollars time to be focused on making a special collection for turkeys for the needy. We will deliver turkeys to the Mission this year. Our goal is to beat last year's contribution by 25% or so, around $500 in total. If you're moved, please plan on bringing some extra $$'s to put toward the turkey purchase. Thank you Janice for organizing! Note: as of last week, we had $375.00 plus some commitments!
ODDS 'N ENDS..............
If you still have buckets from your rose deliveries, please bring them back.............we're looking for a third host family for our RYE student for the Spring period. Contact Rick H...........Thank you, James H. for your history lesson last week. We never knew where the Four Way Test came from ..............
